Moving Cataloged Files
- Open the Cataloger screen.
- Open Windows Explorer, i.e. by right-clicking Start and then left-clicking Explore.
- Drag and drop one or more files from Windows Explorer onto the Cataloger screen.
- Follow the instructions that display after dropping the file(s). They instruct you either to
drag and drop more files, or to continue and select a folder to move the file(s) to. When finished, the
new location of the moved file(s) will be updated in DLRoundup, so the file(s) can still be launched from
DLRoundup.
Note: Not following the above instructions will result in moved files not launching
properly from DLRoundup. If that happens, a file's new location can still be manually updated in DLRoundup as
follows:
- In the Master Library screen, select the file and click the [Change] button.
- Click the Library Detail tab.
- Click the [Change] button to display the Library Detail change screen.
- Click the [Change] button to display the External Links change screen.
- Update the Link near the top of the screen. You can test it by clicking the [Launch] button to
the right of the Link.
